UAC appoints son of Deputy PM Rogozin as vice president
MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- Alexei Rogozin, son of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, has been appointed as vice president of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) for transport aviation, the corporation said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Alexei Rogozin was appointed to the post of vice president of the UAC for transport aviation on March 14. He is to form the transport division of the UAC, to consolidate the key functions of management of the company on the level of the core organization and to create a united framework for management of the transport aviation programs,” the UAC said.
The UAC said that Rogozin will also face the task of upgrading the jet fleet of the Defense Ministry and other executive authority bodies.
